46G ETHER SHIRT - GREY

The new open-collar style is exclusively adopted for short sleeves. Named “Ether” from its moderately modern fit silhouette, creating a lightly enveloping feel.

Utilizing super high gauge 46G, this fabric achieves the high-density plain weave structure of a typewriter fabric. It offers exceptional stretch for irresistible comfort, minimal deformation such as wrinkles during wear, and high easy-care properties. This is a new standard shirt fabric only KANEMASA PHIL. can create, combining crispness, luster, and easy care.

The details are inspired by dress shirts, featuring French seams throughout and shell buttons. Due to the crispness and luster of the material, even with an oversized pattern, it doesn't become too casual. This unique shirt merges the dressy feel created by the fabric with the casual feel created by the pattern, resulting in luxurious looseness.

The cotton yarn is made from 120/1 fine count recycled Suvin cotton, twisted into a two-ply yarn. Gas singeing is applied to the yarn to enhance luster and suppress pilling after washing. 50D high-crimp recycled nylon is used to provide stretch. Starting this season, the brand logo is engraved on the back of the buttons.

*French seam: A sewing method where, after one stitch, the fabric is folded over and stitched again so that the raw edge of the fabric is not visible, ensuring a smooth feel against the skin.
